Deas Island Regional Park

For Mother’s Day, I wanted to go for a quick hike / stroll. I have this book called “109 Walks in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland” and so I went through it and found a few good ones for us. Not too long, fairly close for us to get to, and relatively flat. Deas Island Regional Park was one of them. We had a good hike – Kale did start getting fussed towards the end of being in the Beco for upwards of 2 hours (I would too), but after some time in the grass, he was happy again. We also discovered a new thing he lerves: the Nalgene.
